Garden State.

My favourite movie is Garden state. THis movie is written and directed by Zach Braff also He is the leading actor. I didn´t know him before this movie but I really liked his performance in this movie I believe in every words and every expression that he says in the movie. He is also the leading actor in another series called "Scrubs". The character in Garden State is called Andrew Largeman. He is a waiter in a Chenesse restorant and his life its very monotonous and boring. He can not feel any feeling or emocion because He has been taking litio about 20 years. The other leading actor, Natalie Portman, play the role of a town girl called Sam. The movie is about the trip that has to make Andrew becuase the death of his mother. He has to return to your childhood city and unexpected things start to happen, remember: Andrew has no feelings because of 20 years of litio. This interesting story takes place in a tipycal small town in New Jersey a completely different place from a big city. Adrew goes to the funeral of his mother so He stay in his old home with his father. In general the movie show us different places from this small city.

I really love this movie: the main reason is that shows what I really believe about the meanings of live and ways to spend our time in life. Its not only whath we think about us also its what we do. And how we fell our actions. So there is a particular escene in this movie, when Andrew goes to a party in his firend´s house and take drugs people start to play arround him but Andrew still quite and the camera show him all the time: He is very high but He can not move. I like this part because of the soundtrack, the song called "waiting line" also its my fouvorite song.

Its my fovourite movie for many reasons, for the soundtrack, the actors and the argument. I think its perfect I didn´t change anything. I hope that you see it.

Visiting SANTIAGO

If you come to Santiago you should visit diferents places of the city. There is no only the mains streest like "Alameda" There ir also streets and neighborhood around. Because Santiago city its very different depending of the place: there is many economic diferents that you can pay atention if not only goes to the main neighborhood like Santiago centro. You can visit places like "santa lucia" hill or " san cristobal" how has a virgin., also you can visit historical places like "Barrriob Yungay"or "La moneda" . If you come to santiago you can konw about the Latin american people, you should go to the parties in Bellavista neighborhood, you can know about history if you come to the museums. But, also, you shoud visit the subway, one of the world's cleanest subways!!!!!

Ill give you five places that you never forget:
-Parties Neighborhood: Neighborhood Lastearras or Bellavista: located in Santiago Centro near to he station subway called Bellas artes, its a really quite neigborhood despite of the places and all the bars that you can have a really good time. if you ask me I choose this neihgborhoods because there are not expensive and the landscape its beatiful, there´s many old houses and its a really cool enviroment. I suggest you that visit the bar with blue beer!
- Mercado central: located in Estación central, the Mercado its a Historical place. You can eat a fried fish with salads is exquisite!!!! The mercado Central and the streets around can give you and Idea of the culture and the people of Santiago. I recomend to you this place because it show the esencial personality of Santiago
-"Santa Lucia" hill: as introduction here Santiago was founded by Pedro de Valdivia. Located in the station subway with the same name. IT is a beautiful place with a lot of wonderful gardens and every day at the 12 o´clock there is a gunshot. I chose this place because the history surrounding it and beacues the beatiful gardens.
-The subway: Like I said before the sabway of Santiago is one of the world's cleanest subways, but also you can know the differents neighborhoods and the diversity of its people. In santiago there is an impressive diversity that you can Know if you take a travel in the subway that its the reason because I recommend this place.
-La moneda: Government House a really Historical place, but before that was a Government house was the factory of coins. Located in the satation subway with the same name. I recommend this place because the history that surrounding it, La moneda has the joys and sorrows of Chile.

Fakes Hero of the earthquake

The intendent of Concepción gave herself an honor prize because in Concepción there was a ceremony. Where the minister of work gave to the public workers condecorations because of the earthquake a seaquake work and the public workers who recived the tribute were Van Rysselberghe ( the intendent) and the mayor of Hualpén. How ever this mayor was the person that made the ceremony. But it isn´t the most shoking at all ! : "the Van Rysselberghe " says to the audience in the cermony that the erthquake an the seaquake was a " blessing of god a godsend "because the people that lives in Concepción was in decadence about 40 years ago. And the region needs to be more stronger and what happened in the begginig of the year gave to the people the strain to keep the city alive. It seems that the erathquake and seaquak was a "godsend" only for Concepción and Van Rysselberghe doesn´t think in the other cities or towns that maeby doesn´t need and earthquake even the City of Concepción because who can think that an earthquake that includes a seaquake can be a "blessing of god" ? despite of that Van Rysselberghe and the mayor of Hualpén seems doesn´t matters all the people that even can´t sleep or they get up around 3 am.

I think that if ours leaders or peoples leaders says thant kind of things we are really lost!

First: because the Church and the State separated to many years ago. Second: We all know the reasons about the problems in regions.Third: in anywere a tragic moment can be a "blessing of god" and you know any part of the speach of the intendent is coherent . But, what can we wait from a person that give an honor prize, a hero condecoration, to himself?

I would like to see news that talking about this things . Not abou thief and safety and economics news that says that the country is "well" . And also the media has to learn about " to get wet his ass" and take th responsability that inform is also give a publc opinion.

London...

I would like to visit London. I know that is not a really wonderful and exciting place. But many years ago a family friend ( like an uncle for me) left home and went to London She wants Have a Magister degree. So when she London. So I didn’t see her in many years. But she always says to me that I have the “open doors” of her home. And also told me that if I want, we can go around and see the world. I would like to visit all the countries near to London. I don’t know many things about London like places or even its culture only that they have the big ben and an impressive museum of wax called museum of Madame Toussauds. But I have a really open mind. So when I go I would like to visit all the places that I can and eat all that I can too.
Also I have a dream to. I really want to study in any other country. And London seems to be a nice place for learning English despite that I know that is to expensive the cost of living. But , You know if I try maybe I can just like my uncle.

starting the year

The last semester I had a nice begining because I took wonderful holidays with my friends. I was very happy to start the year. And the most important thing I get back with my boyfriend after 3 years only because we saw in Bolivia ( the place of my holidys) by chance. Also during the year I feel ver stressful because the University but I learned to much even I became assistant profesor.

I studied a lot and I didn´t to much other activities. But I must to say that despite of the stressful year University I went To a lot of party and I try to keep the relation ship with my boyfriend. We made a lot of activities together like go to the cinema, cook Sushi, etc.

Despite of the pressure of many things like family and University I dind´t had to face many challenges: Only try to keep the grades and try to make all the homeworks in the best way and organize my time with my family my friends and my boyfriend . But you never made all the stuff like you one, only we can try.

2010 blog

the blogging experience!

In general I don´t like to be more than hour in a classroom , I esaily get bored. Also when a teacher talk to much about the same item or idea I don’t pay atention because if the idea is not interesting I get borred too. So I can say that I enjoy the experience of having a blog for the English class, because I prefer work in the computer that work in the classroom. Also the English Class its too late at 4 pm until 7:30pm and after a hard day of classes and homeworks I can’t pay too much atention to any class So, make a blog i’ts more funny and relaxing that normal classes. For me the only problem is the schedule, we go to our homes at 7:30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the means of transport are not the best.
However, in general I feel like a really learn how to write in English maby its no so productive because its only a blog and for my career I need to learn about specific vocabulary , like the pappers about Archeologist or social Antrophologist. But despite that, learn using the blog it help´s me with my vocabulary in general, But specially I STARTED TO THINK IN ENGLISH and not translate words from spanish.
I think that Internet and television and all kinds of visual means are a very usefull for learning because our society its more visual than auditive: We always watch Tv or We have internet in our computers but We don’t listen to much radio, for example. In the case of the blog I think that the most adventages of using this mean for learning is the visual and technological way that obiously its more funny that books for example.
Also using a Blog has disadvantages for example if you have to writte about your family or about your life the people not always is kind and serious , and that kind of informantion is became public when you use a blog. An other disadventages its that you can’t learn about specific vocabulary about the career.
